All 4 of these are worthy of Song of the Week, but I only posted my favorite one (below) so you can decide for yourself which one is the best. Enjoy..

Song of the Week: No Curfew – Skizzy Mars

Posted in Hip-Hop/Rap, Song of the Week with tags , on June 4, 2012 by ludabeatsmusic

Song of the Week is back, and what better way is there to bring in a fresh week than with a little Skizzy Mars. Coming off a rapping-hiatus, Skizzy brings a fresh new sound in this one, going with a slower paced track than what we are used to hearing from in songs like Sirens and Profound. Despite the different approach he took on “No Curfew” I still love the song, seriously every track from this man is an instant addition to my iTunes library. Get familiar with the name Skizzy Mars, because he is going to be here for a while. Take a look at the album artwork above, and listen + download below as always.

Song of the Week: Imaginationland – Rabbit Killer & Supernatural – Speaker of the House

Posted in Electro, Electro-House, House, Song of the Week with tags , , on May 14, 2012 by ludabeatsmusic

This Monday I’ve got TWO Songs of the Week to share with you all. I couldn’t decide which one to post, so I thought I’d  let you all decide which of these electro/house tracks is better. The first one, “Imaginationland” is a very powerful song with a lot of high pitched synths from the upcoming DJ, Rabbit Killer. And the second is Speaker of the House‘s “Supernatural”, a very upbeat track with a lot of bleeps that’ll have you bouncing out of your chair. Check out both these sick tracks below and snag the download while they’re still free. Enjoy.

For this Monday’s Song of the Week, I’ve got a dirty, electrofied mashup from the San Diego based producer, Carlos Serrano. Seranno mashes Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” with The Glitch Mob’s “Fortune Days,” giving the track an upbeat and original sound. Check out this great song and have a great Monday.

This Song of the Week comes from a Brooklyn-based electro trio called Savoy. Here, they turn Chromeo‘s funky track “When the Night Falls” into a gritty electro-house remix that is bound for the dance floor of any rager. Song of the Week (Rap): This Plane (Viceroy Jet Life Remix) – Wiz Khalifa

Posted in Hip-Hop/Rap, Song of the Week with tags , on April 9, 2012 by ludabeatsmusic

Song of the Week is here and I’ve got a sick Wiz Khalifa remix from Viceroy, a producer out of San Francisco, to share with you all. Viceroy puts a sick twist on Wiz‘s “This Plane”and turns the song into a feel-good summertime track that I’ve been jamming all weekend. Now I know some of you may have already heard this one, and I do realize that its a little old but I still think you all need to take a listen plus its a free download so why not? Have a great Monday.

Heres a brand new track from Tate Tucker for Song of the Week. I have always been a Tate Tucker fan and have been patiently waiting for him to blow up. He has a chill, laid back vibe and this song showcases his style very well. “Registration” is definitely worth a listen if not a download, check it out.
